Folder Drawer

The folder drawer is a panel that transitions in from the right edge of the screen and displays file tree of current active file. This is a new feature added in version 1.6.0.

Please swipe from right to left at right edge of the main screen to have a try.

Usage Scenarios

With folder drawer, you can open and switch files without leaving your current work. This is especially helpful when you edit files across a whole project, you can easily open multiple files from the same project.

The path segments on top of folder drawer is scrollable and clickable, you can navigate to parent folder easily. But you cannot change the root folder location, such as changing from internal storage to SD card, FTP or cloud storage. You can change the root folder location in open file page.

When you switch active editing file in QuickEdit, the content of the folder drawer will change. For instance, when you edit a file from Google Drive, folder drawer will display file tree from Google Drive; when you edit another file from SD card in another tab, the folder drawer will display file tree from SD card.
